"A developed country is not one where the poor have cars. It's where the rich use public transportation."
—Enrique Peñalosa, Former Mayor of Bogotá
I became very interested in the concept of walkable cities after reading the book Walkable City by Jeff Speck. It resonated with me because I worked in Boston for almost a year and loved using public transit to move around the city, very different from my experience in San José and Cincinnati.
En Route is a collection of print materials to educate and break the stigma around using public transportation in Cincinnati, specifically among university students.
